It is great for drawing, practicing letters, and games like tic-tac-toe. One side of the chalkboard mat is vinyl. The other side is a chalkboard fabric. Both sides are washable. Your child can draw and erase the placemat with a regular sponge. When you are done, roll it up and go! The mat comes with 2 pieces of chalk, 2 liquid chalk markers, a 2X3 inch sponge and a pouch that secures the rolled mat with elastic.
